Elaine Allaby

Elaine worked as a researcher for the leading legal directory Chambers and Partners. Based on the Asia team, she contributed to the directory's two most recent Asia-Pacific Guide publications, focusing on both national and international firms operating in Greater China, India, and South East Asia. She also undertook research for the UK and the US guides, overseeing both firm and bar sections. She holds a first class degree in English Literature from the University of Warwick.

Giulio Carini

Since 2007, Giulio has been a US-qualified lawyer who has practiced in the areas of project finance, securities issuances, mergers and acquisitions, and international arbitration. He has worked in various industries including energy, banking, telecommunications, and consumer goods. Prior to co-founding Pro Firma, Giulio worked as an associate with Latham & Watkins LLP in Milan and Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP in New York. More recently, he worked as a legal advisor for a Nobel Peace Prize nominated non-profit organisation. Giulio holds a Juris Doctor from Cornell University, a Masters of Arts in International Relations from King's College, London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brandeis University. Giulio speaks English, Italian, and Spanish.

Shuo Wang
Asia-Pacific Legal Directories Expert
During her time as a researcher at Chambers and Partners, Shuo primarily focused on Chinese firms' performance in a variety of practice areas and was one of the main writers of the China (PRC) section for the most recent Asia-Pacific Guide publication. She also covered jurisdictions in Australia and the USA. Outside Chambers, she has gained a solid experience in public relations and marketing through various media and communications roles in China and the UK. She holds a MSc in Media and Communications from London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Peking University. Shuo speaks Chinese and English.

Lydia Allaby
Head of Business Development
Lydia has spent the last two years working as a Contracts Specialist at Rolls-Royce plc, working in the Defence Aerospace sector, building experience in negotiation with US, European and Far East Governments. Now studying at the University of Law in Moorgate, London, she is undergoing training as part of her Solicitor Traineeship before qualification as a UK lawyer. Lydia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with International Relations and proficiency in Mandarin Chinese from the University of Exeter.
